Medicinal Efficacy:

• Removing blood stasis and stopping bleeding: Jiangzhenxiang (Dalbergia odorifera) has a pungent taste that can disperse, a warm nature that can promote circulation, and its red color enters the blood system. It is suitable for various internal and external bleeding caused by blood stasis blocking the collaterals and blood overflowing outside the vessels, such as hematemesis, epistaxis, and traumatic bleeding. When ground into powder and applied externally, it is mostly used for bleeding caused by trauma.
• Regulating qi and relieving pain: With a pungent taste, Jiangzhenxiang enters the qi system to resolve stagnation and enters the blood system to disperse stasis. It is suitable for chest, hypochondriac, heart, and abdominal pain caused by blood stasis and qi stagnation, as well as traumatic pain, such as hypochondriac pain due to liver depression, stabbing pain from chest impediment, and traumatic pain.
• Harmonizing the middle energizer and stopping vomiting: This herb has a pungent taste, warm nature, and aromatic qi. It enters the spleen meridian, can regulate qi, resolve dampness, harmonize the middle energizer, and stop vomiting. It can be used for stuffiness and distension in the stomach and abdomen caused by internal obstruction of dampness and turbidity, vomiting and abdominal pain, or vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain caused by exposure to cold pathogens or foul qi in summer.

• Improving microcirculation: It can increase coronary blood flow, slow down the heart rate, and reduce blood lipids.
• Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory: The contained cinnamaldehyde, lantadene compounds, etc., have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.
• Antioxidant and anti-aging: The rich flavonoid components give it strong antioxidant and anti-aging effects.
